Responding to perceived threat

A neighbor knocked on my door frantically a couple nights ago. When I opened it, she said, “I just have to warn you, there was a guy lurking around the building yesterday”. I asked her what the guy looked like. “He was wearing a sweatshirt and a baseball cap.” I wanted more details.

As I drove to the grocery store on Wednesday, I noticed the grocery store employees walking down the road away from the entrance. The road was closed and there were bomb squad trucks outside the grocery store. I felt that sick feeling in my lower belly, the same one I have had since Monday. At work we have been studying the Boston bombings, at home I stay hourly up to date on developments, as a matter of fact little else has been on my mind.
